INSTALLATION METHOD #1 – Bottom
of Rafters
1. Always exercise caution when working
on
insecure floors – place a board on the attic
floor,
to stand on during installation.
2. The radiant barrier will be installed on the
underside
of the rafters with the material being run
across the rafter facings (Picture Below).
3. Affix the radiant barrier
to the underside of
the rafters using regular staples,
6” apart.
Be sure to leave a 6” gap on either side of
of the ridge vent, to ensure adequate ventilation.
